Célia Keren is Assistant Professor of History at Sciences Po Toulouse. She is a former student of the Ecole normale supérieure of Paris, she is agrégée in History and a former member of the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid.
She holds a PhD in History completed in 2014 at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales of Paris (EHESS) under Professor Laura Downs, with the thesis title “Mapping a Transnational Mobilization: The Evacuation of Spanish Children and their Care in France (1936-1940)”.
Her most recent work includes a chapter on refugees in a forthcoming book on the Spanish Civil War in a European perspective to be published in Jordi Canal, Vincent Duclert (ed.), La guerre d’Espagne: un événement qui a façonné l’Europe.
